The reason for using a double loop is that two magnetic fields enhance each other and because the two loops are in parallel the impedance at the tuning point will be lower and the bandwidth greater compared to a single loop.
Special design allow use antenna for portable and very limited space with minimum assembling time and
not need PLANNING PERMISSION due to height lower then 3 m.
Antenna may be completely dismount in 5 minute and occupy space 1.0x0.5x0.15 m weight 8 Kg.

Magloop8 2m above ground
BUTTERNUT HF6-V vertica with 32 radials in ground
nr - no report
SNR - signal - noise ratio report from WSPR stations in dB
TX power 20 watts
for test used program WSPR v2.11 by K1JT
All stations in system WSPR every even minute of hour had transmit coded test signal.
Duration of transmit 2 minute.
In normal conditions stations transmit and receive coded signals.
After received signal, station create report and sent over internet to WSPRnet site which then appear in common table on the site.
Program WSPR allow tune duration time TX and RX, in our case we tuned program only to transmit every 2 minute.
Antennas had manualy switching over every 2 minute on antenna tuner.
Above table show:
on long distance Magloop8 has same or even better result than BUTTERNUT
On the short distance (100-500km) Magloop8 SNR had weaker SNR than BUTTERNUT.
BUTTERNUT has vertical length - 9 m, Magloop8 hight above ground it was only 2 m .
