MixW install driver

Please note: for further unification RigEXpert use VCP COM13
To change new VCP COMxx please go to:
"Control Panel" on your PC click "Performance and Maintenance" click "System" click "Hardware" "Decice Manager"

To set a new port number
right-click the USB Serial Port (COM4)
click "Properties" cClick "Port Settings"
and click "Advanced".

Select a new COM13 Port Number
and Receive and Transmit (Bytes) - 512
click OK to accept new settings
and close all open windows.

UNPLUG AND PLUG IN USB CABLE IN TO RigExpert
start program MixW

Tick "Include this location in the search"
Browse way to filder with driver (........\P8002104)
click Next to proceed

4. Wizard compliting install driver

Click Finish

Wizard will start again please repeat all operations.

The Virtual Communication Port (VCP) driver is needed to provide a low-level operating system support for the RigExpert.

This disk contains a copy of royalty-free VCP driver - R9052154 (click on sign)
download driver save extract to prepared folder or tick "Search removable media (floppy..CD)" program will find driver from disc.

1. Plug in USB cable in to the RigExpert device. Windows detect a new device connected

2. Found New Hardware Wizard window will automatically open:

Download MixW program and install.
For registartion copy rgistration file MixWReg1.dll in to MixW folder on hard disc PC (C:\Program Files\MixW)
Start Mixw open "Configure" - "Personal Data" fill forms and click OK.
Restart program.

See your callsign on the top left hand side of program window. Program ready for tune.

1. Start program click "configure"

2. Click "Sound device settings"

Choose "Device" - MixW RigExpert - "Port"- COM13

3. Tune CAT

Go to "Configure" TRCVR CAT/PTT

"CAT" - choose your transceiver company brand
"Model" - choose your transceiver model
click "Details" - " Port" - RigExpert
"Baud rate" - 4800
Please note:
baud rate must be the same in program
and transceiver menu for CAT or CI-V
