Changing COMxx to:
COM15 COM16 COM17 COM18

For changing COM xx go to
"Control Panel" -
"Performance and Maintenance" -
"System" - "Hardware" -
"Device Manager"

To set up a new port number
For instance:
right-click the RigExpert Standard Serial Port COM4 click "Properties"

Select a new COM16

 

 

Receive and Transmit (Bytes) - 512

click OK to accept new settings

1. Install driver for RigExpert Standard create COM ports
2. Change COM ports
3. Tune MixW program

Install RigExpert Standard

Please unplug USB cable and click sign to install driver and COM ports for RigExpert Standard on your PC: INSTALL (say RUN two times)
Please carefuly read and follow instruction. Do not put tick in boxes for Adobe, MixW, Digipan..

Download MixW program and install.
For registartion copy registration file MixWReg1.dll in to MixW folder on hard disc PC (C:\Program Files\MixW)
Start Mixw open "Configure" - "Personal Data" fill forms and click OK.
Restart program.

See your callsign on the top left corner of program`s window. Program ready for tune.

Program created 4 serial ports
For further use RigExpert Standard with APRS Ham Radio Deluxe e.t.c.
and other programs we suggest change
COM port numbers to:
COM15 - CAT
COM16 - PTT/CW
COM17 - Wnkey
COM18 - FSK

You can change as you like
depends of program what you want to use

Click "Port Settings"

For other COM 3.........5..........6.......... Repeat all operation

Start program click "Hadware" -
"Sound device settings"

Choose Device

"Computer soundcard"

Input Output:
"USB Audio CODEC"

For tune CAT click "Hardware"
"CAT" - choose your transceiver company brand
"Model" - choose your transceiver model
click "Details"
Port - RigExpert
Baud rate - 4800
Stop bits - see transceiver menu
(Stop bits-2 for FT-1000MP FT-847)
RTS-PTT
DTR-CW

Please note: 
baud rate must be the same as in program
and transceiver menu for CAT or CI-V

For tune PTT Go to "Hardware" - PTT port settings

take off tick "Disable device"

Restart computer. RigExpert Standard ready to use

For tune FSK Go to "Hardware" - FSK port settings

take off tick "Disable device"
